My opinion : Whiplash is a masterpiece. From the electrifyingly breathtaking performance from both Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons to the brilliantly executed scenes of carnage and horror as our main character slowly goes around a spiral of madness with one of the greatest endings ever. This film knocks everything out of the park astoundingly. Cinematography, razor sharp editing and one of the best pacings of numerous years, it’s a true musical composition with no flaws whatsoever except that.. the film is so intense and captivating that one could have trouble over how stressful the style of Whiplash actually is, which is what makes it so great.
