An epochal film, 2001: A Space Odyssey is the work of a professional who presents all of his qualities onto the film (almost). But it’s brilliance derives from the questions it asks, and the thoughts it provokes us with, dealing with what seems to be one of the most important themes of science fiction: technology. It’s so caught up in its perfected framework, state of the art special effects and ideas that prove to become a reality years later that it forgets to form memorable characters. But alas, it takes multiple watches before I can fully review this film, so I will leave it at
