The Dark Knight Rises
Overview
Following the death of District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman assumes responsibility for Dent's crimes to protect the late attorney's reputation and is subsequently hunted by the Gotham City Police Department. Eight years later, Batman encounters the mysterious Selina Kyle and the villainous Bane, a new terrorist leader who overwhelms Gotham's finest. The Dark Knight resurfaces to protect a city that has branded him an enemy.
My opinion : “Theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated… but we are initiated, aren’t we Bruce?” -Bane The Dark Knight Rises (2012) Another great villain. Bane is a powerful muscle loaded freak of nature, one of the main antagonists against the batman, and one that will soon be known to be the only villain to ever truly physically “break batman” in combat. His power mostly comes from his motivation to kill the dark knight for the sheer sake of beating him makes him a man to be feared with. His need for achievement, power and affiliation added with his intelligence and immense strength makes him one of the strongest villains in the batman universe. And one that I adore completely.
