My Opinion : The Turin Horse follows a brilliant concept and a darkly nihilistic premise, but it doubles down as a slow, uneventful 2h30 minute film where nothing really does happen, its a basic repetition between each of the six days with no action, practically no dialogue and virtually few expressions. I’m a sucker for expression of dialogue if done successfully (as seen in the 2011 film Drive) but the film is just a low, cold, well filmed, beautifully composed shot after shot of the same particular thing, with virtually almost no difference, no elevation of stakes in between them. There is no theme is end and death, there is no representation or allegory, its a relatively simple film with a brilliant plot directed by people with a serious lack of narrative ideas, I honestly cannot believe this film is considered great by any means. 60/100.
